Manways and Inspection Hatches

Rectangular manways are used in a variety of different applications from hygienic industrial washing machines, mash tun vessels, autoclaves through to solvent and chemical applications. 

Their shape lends itself perfectly to meeting a flat surface and consequently they are often the preferred choice for cubic vessels and tanks.  There is now a comprehensive range of sizes offered from small inspection ports through to the large 750mm x 750mm hatch that facilitates entry to vessels with breathing apparatus.

• Sizes from 170mm x 225mm through to the 750mm x 750mm
• Special neck rings and manways available to order
• Neck rings available for glass fibre and concrete tank installation
• FDA approved seals in EPDM, Silicone, Viton® or Nitrile
• Many of our rectangular manways have also been up rated and pressures of up to 2.5 Bar are now possible
• Alternative hinge mechanisms allow vertical and horizontal installation
